Full body workout, plus it's a gym quality piece of equipment for under a thousand bucks. Takes up less space than a treadmill or elliptical as it can stand up on end. It's light enough to roll around regularly--we have about a dozen of them at our crossfit gym up against the wall and we pull them out when we need to use them.
I came here to post this. My Concept 2 has over 2.5 million meters on it. I use it frequently and I love (and hate) it.

When initially replying to the OP I didn't see your response as I skipped over the other posts.
I would agree with what you stated about the Concept 2 with one exception, in order to have a "full body" workout, one would still need to incorporate push ups into the exercise regime.
FWIW: My wife is a personal trainer and she just completed a rowing certification.
They used the water rowing machines and she liked them.
We have a Concept 2 at home and upon buying it (5 years ago) dispatched our treadmill shortly thereafter.

RAMIUSWow, people actually use treadmills other than for putting clothes on them?
If you're on Facebook, check out Facebook market place...it's a less shady craigslist with tons of good stuff.
You can set the range of people selling within your location. There's always TONS of people getting rid of nice treadmills, sometimes for free. Easy to offer lower prices too.
I've bought a ton of nice gym equipment from people selling on Facebook marketplace...weights, racks, etc...

Oz_ShadowBest workout I've had in a long time! Moving a 300lb 4x8 box into the house and bedroom had me sweating. I told my wife whenever we sell the house it's going with it.

JSB3If you are only going to walk on it, a decent store brand will do. If you plan on running everyday, hard workouts, I would look at the industrial brands.
I have a True, 15 years old, used average of 10 hours a week. Replaced the belt every 3 years, other than that it still runs great.
