Being our oldest I ended up taking today off as I wanted to help with first day jitters and because my wife is 5 months pregnant with our third (a boy!). Our youngest daughter (2 y/o) wasn’t sure what all the hubbub was about but was excited nonetheless. Amazing how if feels like it was yesterday that she was born. They really do grow up way too fast.

My oldest starts 1st grade next Tuesday and is SUPER excited. I'm probably going to go in to work late so I can walk her to her first day. Time does fly. Enjoy and Congrats!

You can take this to the bank.

It really just seems like yesterday when my son, who just started his junior year in college, had his first day in kindergarten. I remember that day. And yes, the years roll by way too fast.

Tell her my wife was a ballerina and instructor.
I'll hunt photos when I get home.

My sentiments exactly....Cherish every minute!

My son started High School today! While we did get a pic or two of him before he headed out the door this morning (at 5:45 as the bus arrives at 6:05 AM!), he was a little less enthusiastic re: our desire to document this milestone day! And there was NO Way were we going to be able to get him to hold up a sign to memorialize the event!

Beautiful Smile on your future ballerina there, by the way! Wink

Keep taking those pictures every year. Then look back at them.
My daughter just got her drivers license, so she sent me a picture of it. I responded with her 1st grade, first day of school picture.
How time flies.

Congrats. That's awesome.

My only daughter flies to Boston tomorrow to start college. I'll miss her way more than she'll miss me.

SmileYeah! First day of school, I hope that it goes smoothly for her and she has fun! What a cutie! Smile

Last week was our first full week of school, starting week three today. So far it has been bumpy....I hope it smooths out, or it's going to be a long one!

Beautiful! It's a big day for all of you!

My baby girl will likely start kindergarten next year. I know she will be ready. The only question is whether I will be!

She's cute as a button!

Mine is 30 now. Time does fly!

I have a picture of her first day in kindergarten, I'll try to post it here later.

You had better start your plans for "greeting" her boyfriends now, something that keeps them on the straight and narrow - you'll need it.
