What a pleasant topic. I bet NYC leads in rats. Are these the huge Norway rats?

It also included poorly washed and unwashed lettuce. Slugs love lettuce.

FML. I’ve been eating salad for dinner. No wonder I’ve been coughing.

I grew up, blocks from the East River in the rotten apple.
Personally saw rats the size of house cats.
Nasty critters.

So... for those of us who grow lettuce and green leafy things and vegetables in our gardens, does that mean if we put out slug poison that we would be less likely to contract this mess ? And why is there no anti-parasitic drugs to take care of it, I thought the USofA had all the resources to handle all kinds of parasites, and not just the ones in the US. This sounds like more like Ebola than a nematode problem.

I think it's all but pointless to worry about this.

Good point. With the millions of illegal aliens and criminals pouring over our southern border, we'll be awash in crime, drugs, human trafficking, murder, welfare, and drug cartels set up ALL OVER the united states, and combined with all the illegal voting that will overwhelm regular legal voting, the last thing on our minds will be the damn rat shit snail brain parasites.

No, Jesus, no. How many times have we been over this? I say this is nothing to worry about and you resolve the issue with POLITICS??

WHY is this such a knee-jerk reaction for some of you? Why? Why must it always lead back to this stuff??

This thread has nothing to do with politics. ZERO
