No.

It’s corrupt non-representative politicians and bureaucrats who couldn’t care less about you, throughout the ranks.

(R)s haven’t learned anything. “Emasculating“ is the right word; per Kimberley Strassel, WSJ.

You just reversed an election i.e. the will of the people by disintermediating the house from the budgetary process.

As a result of the feckless leadership we are given a series of lose-lose options.

Washingtons congress puke from the south west corner of the state, Vancouver area, voted to impeach trump. So in the fullness of time she got primaried and got beat. Good, right? but then the winner of the primary lost. A flip for the Dems.

Vote for the Quisling and suck it up or dump her and take a chance on a newb...While the dems either laugh or eat Brie or whatever they do, we keep poking the pup.

I don't think the incumbent should have stayed but I knew with bone chilling certainty that we were in a pickle.

the mistake was putting the weak candidate up the first time; what do we do, take their first born to a castle in the Cascades and keep him hostage for a term or two? We are getting eaten alive by our own.

I have no idea what is being discussed. I can usually glean a few tidbits but this one has got me wondering what’s going on.

I think I get it and I echo what I he's saying.

Simply put, politicians being politicians no matter the letter after their name.
I agree that they don't care and are only looking out for themselves. That huge trillion dollar bill that passed just confirms it for me. I think quite a few Republicans signed it also. Some horse trading was done.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

That huge Omnibus bill had earmarks for nearly every state buried in it -- the politicians put several hundred items that should have been stand-alone bills into it, to insure that their pet handouts would get approved.

That would only split the vote. Assuming votes even matter anymore.

At this point, I think we've seen enough evidence that voting no longer matters in most states. Even if voting mattered, our choices are only for the two sides of the same coin.

Yes, the electoral process has become very corrupt. I've been following the Hobbs/Lake mess in Maricopa County. The Secretary of State, who is responsible for voting procedures, was a candidate. She did not recuse herself. So, she counted the votes. It's well documented that ballot printers in "red" areas printed 19 inch ballots on 20 inch paper, causing them to be rejected. Over 42 percent of the ballots audited were ineligible to be counted. So, the judge dismissed the case. Outrageous. The left rigs the vote and runs the court system. Kinda like Vegas, huh? Odds favor the house.

We are all no different to the GOP than what the minority population is to the Dems.

They take us for granted, they don't give 2 shits about us or what we need or want. They know they can do whatever and we will all still line up and vote like sheep.

At least the Dems have an agenda, a belief system and they will drive it. The GOP believe in nothing, they have no plans, no backbone, and are just Dem-lite.

The GOP needs to implode. Its gone already anyway, we just don't want to admit it.
