Been following these since this years model came out and this is the lowest price around. Yet, it appears to be a one day sale, maybe until they run out. B&H, Best Buy and Costco all have the same price, I'm sharing the Costco link because they throw in additional 3 year warranty after manufacturer warranty.

Samsung QN90B 75" this was a $3,500 TV one year ago today, but there's the QN90C which was introduced a month or two ago so they are getting rid of old to make room for new. The reviews say the 2022 is as good or better than 2023 with the only reoccurring theme being that the smart TV apps are a little slow.

I bought mine last week for $1,999, called Costco today and they price matched their current price without having to return and rebuy it. I've been following the prices since the release of the latest models waiting to snag one for cheap. I've done the work for you if you want a new TV, I don't see them dropping below current pricing. Act now if you're in the market.

This pricing discount extends through out the line up in case you want something bigger or smaller. Additionally Hisense, TCL, LG, and Sony are all having great deals on last year's models. If you aren't in the mood for a high end TV the Hisense U8H is the flagship for the lower end TVs and runs ~$500 less.

+++

Sale ended, thanks Costco for taking the extra $200 off!

Moved from $1,799 → $2,299 now. Still not a bad price $1,200 off when it was a new release and $700 less than the current year model which is currently on sale. From the reviews I've seen, the 2022 model may actually be a better TV.

Super happy with the price I ended with and the extra warranty, now I just need to find someone to help me take the old one down and hang the new one.

I installed an antenna a few months ago and tested it current TV got 59 channels, probably mostly just home shopping and Spanish broadcasting, but I get ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, CW, and FOX+ which enough for local sports and news, which is really all I need out of TV since I barely watch it. Usually if anything it's a blue ray or Amazon Prime. I'm cutting the cable and putting the $70-$110 I'll save from internet only service into savings to pay for the TV. TV will be "paid for" in two years or less depending on what level I get for ISP.

We got a lower end Samsung last month for out back patio
70" for $579
For a patio TV, it's plenty sufficient, though I could probably fit an 80 up there.

Measured before we put the 70 up outside & it's about 1/2" too tall to fit in my living room.

Samsung's customer service is top notch. I had a problem with my tv, called them up, they had a tech come out and diagnose the problem and 3 days later they brought out a new panel, which is actually a new screen, and replaced it in no time. I was very impressed.

I've owned five, going back to DLP. I only had a problem with one, and I had a horrible experience. After 4-5 techs and denied claims, I ended up writing the president of Samsung americas or whatever it's called. A few weeks later his secretary called and they gave me half my money back. Not the result I wanted, but barely enough to keep me as a customer.

I bought a Samsung 75" QN85BD series - 4K UH neo QLED LCD TV end of January for the same price of $1799. It came with 5 years protection plan.

Co workers chipped in and gave us a HIGE best buy gift card when we bought a new house. So we splurged and got a monster Tv 75” Sony had to ar a little bit but not much. It’s the next level down in supposed screen quality from the very best which was like $5k. Less than 2 years ago.

Honestly I watch the Walmart 60 we put in our bedroom for $400 with no sound bar and it’s everybit as good.

Haha, is it? I think that's the first time I've ever heard that about Samsung. Glad to hear your experience went well though.

And I just can't imagine paying thousands for a TV nowadays when they otherwise seem to be able to be had for hundreds. Perhaps I'll change my mind when I finally have my own home theater one day.

Thank you for your valuable insight. It was quite helpful for all.

I don't judge you buying a $50,000+ car, or whatever you choose to go high end with, don't judge me for wanting high quality electronics.

Remember that lots of TVs today are sold at a loss because there is future revenue to be had after the initial sale. Did you read that 10,000 word user agreement the first time you turned on your TV? Yeah, I didn't either. But it probably says something about the manufacturer collecting and selling your data. My network filtering device (pi-hole) reports that the most "offending" clients on my network are all smart devices. TV, receiver, dishwasher, etc. Many are trying to phone home literally once every second. I'm guessing the frequency is due to them being blocked from phoning home.

Just know what you're getting into with modern consumer electronics. If the product is free (or seemingly too cheap), you're the product.
