When I was a teenager, I’d drink coffee...but would load it with cream and sugar so much it was like a hot chocolate. Then came the month long camping trip in Alaska...when we ran out of cream and sugar...I started drinking it black...ever since.

Enjoy my coffee. Like has been said, quality coffee and prep make all the difference!

Wife got me some Black Rifle Coffee for Christmas last year and really enjoyed it. Wish she would have gotten me some more this year!

Our household favorite is the Kirkland Signature from Costco. Specifically, the Pacific Bold, in Keurig K-Cups. I like it with a bit of cream (half & half), no sugar, although if there happens to be a can of whipped cream in the refrigerator I might give it a shot of that, just for variety.

I’ve never heard of that and had to look it up. Is your Grandma from Finland?

Actually, looks like it’s done in many countries. Russia, Persia, Sweden...hmmm.

BRCC Sniper's Hide was the first coffee I could drink black. Now they've discontinued it. I drink Silencer Smooth with just two or three tiny spoons of sugar in the raw and its perfect. It's what I'm drinking as I type this.

I first started drinking coffee after they banned ephedrine hydrochloride from GNC and gas stations. Then I started drinking Starbuck's but with tons of sugar and caramel to mask the terrible taste of the coffee.

But drinking 1,000 calories a day is not desirable for the waistline so I had to look for alternatives and now I've finally arrived at BRCC in a drip brewer. I'm actually happier.

When I'm on the road and I do need some coffee, I do Dutch Brothers when I can. A 911 or an Annihilator will keep me wired for a few hours.

E.S.,

You're lucky. I tried my first cup of coffee in almost 30 years a little while back and then decided to write a short, humorous blurb about my coffee experiences.

Welcome to the dark side. I only started a few years ago myself as I never really cared for it. Now, I can't imagine life without it. For a Christmas gift, a friend of mine got me a couple packages of Barney's- Santa's White Christmas. It is really good.

Big Grin And I bet you never washed your cup out either? My family can't stand that I don't clean the inside of my coffee cup.
