Murkowski got fired some years ago. Only through the leftist ranked choice voting does she retain her position.

Alaska needs to rid themselves of that ridiculous process.

We tried. It was a ballot initiative during the latest election to get rid of it. Initial vote tallies had it going down by a slim margin. The final recount kept it in place by 664 votes.

People and parties have started to game the system. Don't rank Mary was a popular slogan against the democrat incumbent in the latest election and it seemed to work.

It's an incredibly dumb system. Mary Peltola was elected to her one and only term in congress and received less than 40% of the initial vote. It was brought to Alaska through out of state sources and funding, the author is a democrat from Colorado. My advice if it ever comes to your state, oppose it and never let it come into effect.

Murkowski has never been elected by a majority. Her first term was given to her when her father retired from the senate and appointed her to serve out the remainder of his term. When she ran to keep her seat she was defeated in the Republican primary. She there a temper tantrum, started a write in campaign and got elected with less than 50% of the vote. Two years ago she finished second behind Kelly Tshibaka. Neither received 50% + 1 so ranked choice voting kicked in and the 10% who voted for the democrat ranked Murkowski second and Murkowski got elected.

I seriously hope Patel follows through with this and we see mass prosecution of those in the media who called the 2020 election for Biden (with the exception of those who were genuinely unaware of the rigged election).

Edit - I looked at some other videos on this account and it's pretty anti-Trump. Just a heads up

I'd rather he does a colonoscopy cleansing within the FBI , first. Reveal what is behind the curtain with James Comey and his little cabal.

I saw that. Interesting times we're in. Are they going to merge the ATF into the FBI? They've got one guy to oversee the reconstruction of two totally corrupt govt entities. Maybe merge the two then disappear the ATF?

Plus, Patel told the FBI to ignore Musk's order that all federal employees were to fill out the questionnaire. Patel told them they answer to him.

Interesting times we're in.

I am watching this with great interest, as I had my interview with my ATF IOI last week for my FFL. He was pleasant, but all business, still spent three hours with me and acted like he really needed to get to the next one. I met another home-based FFL yesterday who said he may get audited once every three years. We have a lot of them in Phoenix. So I'm pretty sure my IOI will have no problem jotting down in an email what he did last week. He appeared to be a busy and serious guy.

I just can't see the licensing stuff going away. I can't imagine any way that can happen.

I think virtually all the three letters need to go away. There is way too much redundancy. And it allows 1811s to hide in the clutter.

But…………..

I fear putting all agencies consolidated under one roof. In the Jan 6 mess, you had FBI all in but very little resources of ATF, DEA, or Homeland. Imagine all agencies reporting to the FBI.

I don’t know what the right answer is. One day, the pendulum could swing back to weaponization.
