Danzig - Mother comes on my 5 year old starts singing and I crank it up? Am I a bad Dad? Asking for a friend.
All good.
Carry on.

I have videos of my daughter from a few years ago dancing and singing The Heart from your Hate by Trivium and Wash it all Away by FFDP. It was great, she was really into it. She is 7 now and starting to like some of the typical little girl songs but will still listen to some heavy stuff with me. She was digging Walk with me in Hell by Lamb of God just over Christmas. Love that little girl.

How could I forget them! If there was music that was meant to be played at "11", it would be The Who! (Outside of Spinal Tap )
Some early Santana - the drums might pique his interest.
Just let the Kid figure out what he likes. Black, your job is to expose him to as much as possible. I wouldn't rule out any classical music either. "Oh, you like this? Try some of this..." Metal, classic rock, classical, punk...

A twisted song for sure but it is too tempting to it crank way up! No judgment here.

It seems twisted until you find out the “mother” in the song is Tipper Gore.
That song, and Dee Snider’s testimony before Congress were two very important moments in modern music history, especially if you like rock and metal and free speech.

That’s crazy, my 8 year old does the same thing, and then my ten year old joins in. Your “friend “ is doing just fine!
