old dinoknee replacemernt today
Great to hear from you ...
The first 72 hours may be tough, but you sound like a strong bull and will be fine.
Think of a happy place, take meds and chill.
Thanks for the update sir.

john crusherI've had both done and am pain free and can squat, kneel and climb like I used to. I just turned 67 and my knees feel like they did when I was 35.

DonDraperI watched a lot total knee cases 20+ years ago but they never had any robots assisting! I want to see this in action, has me quite curious.

papaacGlad you did well. I'm facing replacement down the road. So far injections have taken care of it.

billfasttaxI am 80 years old and had one on August 19 and another about a year before that. The first was a breeze, walked without a walker or cane after 3 days. Up and down stairs after 10 days. The last one was about a week behind the first in recovery time and I still have a fair amount of swelling on that leg. No after surgery pain with either one. I did PT for a month before each one and followed PT religiously after surgery on both of them. My only regret is not doing it sooner!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming…......WOW! WHAT A RIDE!

slabsides45A bit o' levity, for when the pain meds are fully kicked in....

blueyeThe Breg Polar cuff is the bomb. Wife used it for her knee replacement and loved it.

A bit better, thanks, but still hurts way beyond expectations. Saw the ortho yesterday; he's happy with my progress (or lack of it), and is pushing me off to the PT Nazis next week.
