A self appointed/self important elite. Hypocrisy and shame is lost upon them because they feel that they are somehow special, more important, and generally better than you. They are
the same people you see hanging around political campaigns with exactly the same attitude-come the revolution they will be the elite. Lenin had people like this who would hang around him. He regarded them as "useful idiots" and when they were no longer useful they were disposed of.

I run lots of yachts for lots of zillionaires and we burn lots of diesel. Next week I'll be chewing through around 2000 gallons. They're not hypocrites, and just normal people.
