48 years today. Don't think we will go out tonight though. Just stay in and listen to Hurricane Laura.

FlyingScotNot where most of you are yet - met my wife 33 years ago on Aug. 17th. We have been married 27 years. Had just turned 19 and she was 17 when we met. Many good years still to come - though I will add we seem to be a rarity here in South Florida.

If I remember correctly, Q (12131) posted a while back that his folks had been married something like 80 years. I may be off a little, but it was an inconceivable number.

StarTravelerMy parents celebrated their 59th anniversary in June. I'm hoping my wife and I will be celebrating our 40th in less than 8 more years.
