Fun/game/riddle: What do Philadelphia and Smyrna have in common?

There are many possible answers obviously, but the only one I have in mind is very specific. Take as many stabs at it as you wish.

PRIZE: >> This << NIB 2009 German made/proofed SIG Sauer SP2022. If the winner lives in a ban territory, he will receive 500 US$, instead. If there are more than one person who correctly guess it, a random drawing will be made to pick the winner.

Good luck!

Both are cities in Turkey.

Both are hosts to one of the 7 churches in Revelations, and are mentioned in Revelations 1:11.

Both are commended by Jesus, while the other 5 churches mentioned in Revelations are both commended and cautioned by Jesus.

Both Smyrna and Philadelphia can be names for women.

Well, of the seven churches in biblical times, only Philadelphia and Smyrna are addressed as Jews who had become followers of Christ. Just my early Sunday morning guess.

On some level, those two churches survived to present day due to adherence to God’s laws while the other 5 did not.

Both are cities in the USA and at one point were cities in Asia minor.

Both US cities are related to firearms manufacturing and airplane manufacturing

Both cities in Revelation are given encouragement and not condemned for wickedness

Both cities in Revelation are told of the synagogue of satan

1. They exhibited no negatives.
2. Smyrna had tribulation (Acts.14.22 "...we must through much tribulation enter into the
Kingdom of God.)
3. Philadelphia had patience, an extension of tribulation (Rom.5.3 "...tribulation worketh
patience, and patience, experience; and experience, hope.)

Their names are both Greek, and in addition to being American cities were both were also the names of ancient cities in what is now Turkey, and these are included in the Book of Revelations, Chapters 2 and 3, as two of the seven cities to which John wrote letters expressing messages from Jesus to his faithful in the cities.

1. Both are located in Pennsylvania.
2. Both are located in Arkansas.

BIBLICAL: Philadelphia and Smyrna both were not rebuked for their shortcomings.

The "Crown Of Life". From Revelations, "Smyrna and Philadelphia, receive only commendation. These two represent the faithful churches in the time between the advents".

*** Winner = ArtieS *** Congratulations!

This was too easy. Lol. Yes, Smyrna and Philadelphia were the only two of the seven churches in Asia Minor that did not sin, and they were praised by God. The other five (Ephesus, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis and Laodicea), to one degree or another, had elements among them that sinned against God, and He rebuked them and warned them to repent.
