I can see a lot of orange OAN t-shirts showing up at the next OK St. game.

This story ran yesterday on the local news. I will provide a link but you have to pay to subscribe. I'll copy and paste a short bit from it. …………………………………………………………………………. Gundy made national waves in April with comments supporting OANN during an hour-long teleconference. “I tell you what's funny is, I was flipping through stations. I found one — I don't even know if anybody knows about this — it's called OAN,” Gundy said in April. “It's One America News. And it was so refreshing. They just report the news. There's no commentary. There's no opinions on this. There's no left. There's no right. They just reported the news. “And I've been watching them the last week, because they're giving us the news and given us more information — in my opinion — some of the positives are coming out. So, that was refreshing.” Link to story .

Yeah... that's just a touch >< inaccurate. True: They do report the news. And, of their content that is news reporting, they actually do appear to report the news. They also report more news, on a much wider variety of newsworthy things, both in the U.S. and elsewhere, than the major U.S. broadcast networks. But "no left, no right?" That's clearly inaccurate. OAN intersperses their news coverage with lots of political commentary, and it's all clearly biased to the right. Thing is: They clearly separate opinion from fact. And that's one thing the broadcast "news" shows do not. Nor, near as I've seen reported, do the cable "news" shows. So I'm fine with the political commentary. Only issue I've ever had with OAN is their habit of covering every last minute of every Trump appearance, live--regularly preempting news coverage to do so. It got so bad, a few months back, that I stopped our subscription because, when I'd sit down to catch news, there'd be another Trump appearance again, instead. I like Trump well enough, but I can only watch him say the same things so many times before it ceases being interesting. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe "If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher
