Spell is kind of a shithead too.

Everyone seems to think he is correct, I would be one who says it is not. He is a pastor and there is a high standard for pastors. Verbal threats do not justify physical action.

Read 2 Samuel 16:5 to see what King David did to Shimei. In no way is this guy a better man than David. I am sure many will disagree, I am not going to debate it, just stating my view.

I shouldn't have to wait for a guy who says he's going to kill me to actually try to kill me before I do something about it. If he says he's going to do it, I'm going to take him at his word.

There was a world before I was born where society was more polite. I believe the reason for that was in those times a person running their mouth was beat down with no consequence to those doing the beating. As a result fewer people ran their mouths because they were well aware of the consequences.

In today's world people know they are "protected" and say things they shouldn't say as a result. I'm a bigger fan of the old way.

I think anybody who says things like this should be subject to their very own threats. You run around saying you want to rape somebody? Don't come crying when you're found with a broomstick broken off inside you.

In some of those threats, which are on video, the idiot was holding a pistol. The law should have dealt with him and did not. Now, he's been dealt with.

There are a lot of people that seem to think that you have to be a pacifist to be Christian. Turning the other cheeck does not mean you can't defend yourself.

I consider myself a pretty controlled well adjusted person but if I felt my wife or children were in danger I'm not sure I wouldn't lose it!!

I can tolerate a certain amount of personal verbal abuse as long as you don't get in my face. However, you threaten my family and one of us is gonna get an ass-kicking - or worse.

I responded to a trespassing/criminal mischief complaint one time. Old farmer caught some 20-ish kid tearing up his field with a truck. Kid got caught because he rolled the truck and couldn't leave. We got there and they were talking and seemed relatively amicable, until the kid said something cocky and the old guy punched him in the throat. Right in front of two cops.

As I was putting the old guy in cuffs I asked him why he did that, because now I've gotta take him to jail, too, which I really didn't want to do, and he's gonna have a criminal record over some dipshit kid. Old guy said, "Son, I'm 84 years old...what's a criminal record matter to me? And if I've gotta go to jail for punching that asshole then it was worth it!"

Sometimes you've gotta acknowledge and accept the consequences and just do it anyway.

Nothing says a preacher has to accept those threats and wait for the threat to appear....

The older I get and the more overt evil I see some people shamelessly display, the more I believe those people are possessed by demonic spirits/powers willing to do any evil to others when opportunity presents.

If one of those demonic people tells me he’s going to rape and kill members of my family, I believe him and will then go on the offensive. I have all day every day to make that demon my special project and have nothing better to do.

That said, I would have handled that situation with more surreptitious leverage unless the target of those threats were more immediately vulnerable.
