When I lived in the Appleton area, Tom's was the place I always went to eat. They have multiple locations in the area. The interiors come off like an old style diner. You can just order a sandwich, or go with a meal combo. The burgers are pretty good, and they give a good portion for the fries. I think what really set them apart is their shakes and malts. They offer numerous flavors. I always end up getting the mint.
I actually prefer it to Culver's.
