Good points! TM was comparing Dallas and Houson to determine which was the best city. An argument that my father and I used to have when he became a Dallas resident in the 60s. Dallas always had the better weather and better managed football team, I’ll admit that! Incidently, the winner of the TM contest was San Antonio. The artl was published over 20 yrs ago.

After the oil crash in the 80s, Houson had the sense to diversify.

Their medical center is a marvel. Has been for years. MD Anderson is one of best in world. Must be 15 hospitals there at least.

Houston’s gradual shift to the left over the past 30 yrs is troubling. Crime and big city problems are spreading to the suburbs. That’s why I left.

Attended a wedding in Houston around this time...it was awful. Humid, hot, humid..hot. The cold Lone Star afterwards helped, a little.

^^^ Wedding in Houston in summertime? That's worse than torture. You wished you were being waterboarded, instead.

I just figured out where I am

I am northwest along 290 at Hegar Road where it crosses FM2920

would have liked to meet up but I think I will be unable to get into the city area until I head back to Tucson

If I can land this client, I can get a lot more work out here

next time I will have better planning

That location probably won't work. 290 is terrible right now, with a lot of construction. It would be hard to get together for lunch in any reasonable amount of time.

Good luck with your meetings.
