14 out. Arose at 6 and fed the beast, then started a fire. The beast knows where the heat rolls down to the floor. Sitting here with coffee, reading the forum. Good morning to y'all!

Good morning! It's 21 here. I'm having coffee too, then out for my morning walk. (I'm not as smart as your dog! Big Grin)

72° here, but you're on the south side of Orlando and we are on the north side, where it's two degrees cooler. Wink

Good morning, not so cool here it was 20 when I got up earlier but has warmed to 33 now. Got up twice in the night to load the stove. First thing is to let Sophie (my beast) out and when she comes back to the porch with a bark to be let back inside she heads right to the stove.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Good morning as well.

Balmy 46 here in the pacific northwet. I gave my wife my cold so she is sleeping in so I made myself a nice country fried steak, egg, and sausage gravy breakfast along with a pot of coffee to enjoy in a nice quiet house.

Don’t get a lot of solitude, so need to enjoy it when the opportunity arises.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Sweet,

the west is dry and above normal. Little snow. It has not been good so far. We need snow and cold and lots of it between now and valentines day. Not on the horizon either.

Same. We're just over a good winter snow dump, got about 10" of new stuff over the last day and a half. Cleared the driveway and front walk last night, then the shed roof. Watched Rare Exports last night then to bed while the mercury plummeted as the clouds cleared out. Woke up about 0630 (slept in, it's Saturday haha) to a balmy -18. Sitting here drinking coffee next to a roaring fire. Gonna go tree shopping at Kiwanis here in a bit, decorate the tree, then start working on this year's Yule log. A great Saturday!!!

It went down to 20 last night for us. Had breakfast and a chat with friends.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
