Jimmy Stewart loved his dog too. He read a poem that he wrote about him on Johnny Carson’s show. That’s all I’ll say

All I can say there is a lot of emotion going around with that.

That got Johnny. . and me.

A couple of guys with actual talent, not just a gimmick.
Not to mention Jimmy Stewart's WW2 service that I've only learned about well after his death.
Carson just knew how to throw out the right comment with perfect timing to make his guest rise to their best.
Great dog story that every dog owner can relate to.
