Someone couldn’t have told me 50 years ago? Heavenly nuggets of moist, tender, flavorful bbq. Almost makes we want to buy s smoker if I can buy Ends in the market. Screw pork bellies. What are the futures on Ends?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Ha, I'm tempted to laugh at you lots...but I only found out about 'em in my late 30s. I just told my daughter how lucky she is to know them at 13.

Yes, get a smoker! I use mine a lot. Chicken and ribs are fast/easy 3-4hrs. Pulled pork or brisket, yeah that's all day.

They open at 11. You want to be in line NLT 1040. If the day's supply is gone at 1:00, you're SOL.

That's blasphemy to speak of burnt ends like that. They are great, love to order them any time I can.

One of the few things I miss about Springfield, MO is City Butcher BBQ. A couple of guys doing Texas style BBQ in the Ozarks. Their meat is top notch, seasoned with nothing but salt and pepper; their burnt ends are the best I've ever had. Even better than Pappy's, and that's saying something.

They are pretty awesome. I’m partial to Joe’s KC and Q39 myself.
