Blue cheese - storability?

Blue cheese - storability?

I found a blue cheese I very much enjoy. It seems like its limited runs (ie - limited amount per year).

Can I buy a bunch and freeze it? Or does blue cheese not freeze well? If that's that's the case, then I would only buy an amount that I could reasonably consume (enjoyably, not just blind consumption so that I get sick of it) within the recommended time period (of which, how long could I keep blue cheese in the fridge - 1 month? 3 months? 6 months?).

I don't think it will last more than 3 weeks refrigerated.

I've vacuum sealed it and frozen it with little ill effect.

If it's sealed, it can last 6 months. Once you open it, one month is the latest. I always kick myself when I let cheese go to waste.
