The German giant that originated the gummy bear will open its first North American candy factory in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., bringing hundreds of jobs and nearly a quarter-billion dollar investment to the rapidly growing area near the Wisconsin-Illinois border, Gov. Scott Walker announced Thursday.

The new town slogan should be "The Home of Tooth Decay".
Good for WI and the taxpayers there. They deserve it. Its amazing the amount of industry right over the WI side of the border isnt it? Meanwhile to the south, taxes keep increasing and business continue to flee.
