As I am looking for a reliable EDC I have noted the never failed never had a hiccup and with a barrel change be a 9,40 or 357 Sig. I have carried this pistol before retirement and the last 15 years since. I have purchased replacement weapons but never with the feeling of confidence that the 239 carries. It’s heavy, only has 8 or 10 rounds, but it goes BANG when needed. Now if Sig would just start the production line again? and gets us some mags! About the only thing that comes close for ME is the S&W 380 EZ.

My G19 Gen 5 has taken over the P239's roll for me as my EDC pistol of choice.

My P239-9mm more than likely will not be sold though, as I did purchase two new in wrapper magazines, and a spare parts kit while both were still available. With its Checkered G10 grips, and Trijicon HD's, it is still a great shooter, and a very viable EDC.

Mine's a keeper.

I had it in the center console of a rental car that got broken into. The thief only took Mrs. Lee's cosmetics bag off the back seat, didn't look in the center console. That was a sign that I need to keep this gun forever.
