Mac OS X, Safari and cookies ... deleting successful with settings change
With MacBook Air, iMac, iPhone, and iPad all using Safari, I can't figure out how to delete all the Safari cookies. Yes, I know how to do the normal steps to delete them. But, for whatever reason, Safari will NOT delete them.

What secret Mac command process would delete these?

Nothing that Google threads have suggested is possible. Deleting secret folder contents? Nope, nothing there.

Any ideas, please let me know.

I know this procedure. I have attempted it several times. It does not work.

Did you clear history also? I usually do both and everything seems to work as advertised. maybe something to do with autofill? I don't use that so I don't know for sure.
ETA:
Also I just read that when stubborn cookies are encountered you can try emptying the caches first then the cookies.

Discovered a setting that prevents cookie deletion.

It is under Screen Time / Content & Privacy Restrictions.

If you turn this ON, thinking it is good, it prevents deleting cookies.

I turned it OFF.

That's weird. I hate having different choices to accomplish the same thing.
