Washing . Cleaning silk bowties?

I just found a couple of bow ties I bought years ago. They need cleaning.
Wonder if I can do it myself,or need a professional cleaner.

Bow ties are as rare as dodos down here, I mean the type you tie yourself.

My silk ties go to the cleaners when I soil them. Its not worth taking a chance on ruining them if they are good ties.

Dry cleaner for silk ties. Anything else ruins them.
