Found her on LinkedIn She’s doing an internship “Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition.” Before that she was a freelance translator for asylum cases. Before that she was a “director of outreach for a “Center for human rights education” previous to that she was a grad student and a research assistant.
Most of theses job were worked for less then two years.
She was ROTOC 1994-1998 and was in Kuwait. Looks like her last active duty was in 2015. So yea, she could be an 0-4 with 22 years (if she’s stayed in the reserves.)

Source: Aurora police investigate after U.S. flag removed during protest

AURORA, Colo. — Police say they will be reviewing any available video to help them identity protesters who trespassed and pulled down the American flag in front of an immigration detention center in Aurora, tried to burn it and replaced it with a Mexican flag.

<snip political BS>...

In a statement on Facebook , Aurora Police Chief Nick Metz said police decided not to intervene when the flags were being removed to protect the safety of the majority of protesters who were acting peacefully as well as that of officers but they would have acted had there been violence or damage to the property.

He said GEO representatives wanted to step in after the U.S. flag was removed but police asked them not to so they could talk to the official protest organizer, who then encouraged people to disperse.

Metz said that de-escalated the situation and there was no need for police intervention after that.

Metz should be bitch-slapped.

The mexi-flag folk should be shot.

Christian should wake up and smell the shit. Those people you are trying to help are trying to steal your country.

There were fliers taped on the front door of my complex in Spanish and Korean saying what to do if agents come. My wife speaks Spanish, I had no idea.

Edit for clarity. I had no idea what the fliers said. I knew my wife spoke Spanish.

It was Tacoma PD who killed the moron, but I'm happy with the result either way.

Van Spronsen, a Vashon Island musician, was shot and killed by Tacoma Police officers, the Seattle Times reports. No one else was injured.

Van Spronsen also went by the name Emma Durutti on a now-deleted Facebook profile and on an album titled “the audio manifesto” that was posted to Bandcamp a week before he was killed. While some have said the Emma Durutti name indicated Van Spronsen was trans — and Emma Durutti did post on Facebook in 2018 calling Willem Van Spronsen a dead name — friends of Van Spronsen say he did not identify as trans and used Emma Durutti as a pen name. The nom de plume is a reference to two of Van Spronsen’s inspirations: Emma Goldman, an anarchist activist, and Spanish insurrectionary Buenaventura Durruti.

The incident occurred about 4 a.m., Tacoma Police said. Officers responded after receiving a call from an ICE employee at the detention center, according to the police department.

Why The Denver Post asked Aurora police to stop using our photograph of an ICE protester

Police had shared a copyrighted Post news photograph of protester with American flag without seeking permission

By LEE ANN COLACIOPPO | lcolacioppo@denverpost.com | The Denver Post
PUBLISHED: July 17, 2019 at 12:41 pm | UPDATED: July 17, 2019 at 3:45 pm

I would like to explain why The Denver Post asked the Aurora Police Department to remove one of our photographs from its social media posts seeking help identifying suspects from a Friday night protest at the Aurora ICE detention facility.

In the course of photographing the protest, we captured an image of a person with his face partially covered holding a flag that appears to be the one taken from the facility’s flagpole. We have since published the photograph in question no fewer than seven times on our website and social media, including on an editorial denouncing the protesters who removed the American flag.

We have certainly not tried to hide the photo from the public.

Officials at the Aurora Police Department never contacted The Denver Post about using the image. Instead, they posted the photo on their social media accounts superimposed with an image of the Aurora city seal, suggesting that it was either Aurora’s property or that The Denver Post had provided the image to police.

This concerned us for multiple reasons.

First and foremost, we are not a tool of law enforcement. Our independence from any other institution is critical to our ability to be a trusted news source. We believe that Aurora’s use of the photo suggested that we acted in partnership with law enforcement. Our job is to report the news and remain an independent voice. How can the public believe we will ever be critical of the Aurora Police Department if they think we have a partnership with them?

Additionally, the Aurora Police Department’s use of our photograph is a clear violation of copyright law and The Denver Post’s terms of fair use. We defend both vigorously.

As a result, we asked the Aurora Police Department to remove our image from its social-media bulletins.

Anyone is welcome to link to our stories on denverpost.com. This was one of the various options available to the Aurora Police Department for using the image in question.

We respect the need for law enforcement agencies to do their jobs, and are in no way trying to interfere with the police investigation of this incident. There are appropriate and legal ways to use The Denver Post’s news content and we are happy to discuss them with anyone.

[WATCH] Conservative stands up to deranged liberal’s meltdown

July 18, 2019

Ever since President Donald Trump took office, liberals have been on a crusade to destroy America.

With every word that comes out of their mouths, they’re proving that they care nothing about the nation, its flag or the people who defend it.

They summed up their feelings for America in 3 vicious words: “F*** the troops.”

And it gets worse.

At a demonstration outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Colorado this weekend, leftist protesters tore down the American flag and replacing it with the Mexican flag. They also screamed, “F*** the troops” at a conservative blogger.

And it wasn’t a mistake. They didn’t get caught in a “gotcha” moment.

They were proud to have said it.

The ugliness began when Ashley St. Clair, a conservative journalist, showed up to the protest and expressed her support of law enforcement and the American flag.

It made the liberal demonstrators screaming mad.

The group was led by an animated woman, who screamed in St. Clair’s face that she was a “white supremacist” because she said she was proud to be an American.

She tried to provoke St. Clair, who remained calm throughout the entire interaction.

The crazed liberal screamed expletives like, “You’re a f****** b****. You’re a f****** stupid a** privileged a** b****, get the f*** out of here now!”

Then, the woman then began to use a nearby street sign as a stripper pole, chanting “F*** the troops!”

Want to see what liberal voters want in 2020?

The video below will show you everything you need to know —

I went to the Aurora ICE facility where deranged leftists took down the U.S flag & raised a Mexican flag in its place

These lunatics called me a white supremacist simply for supporting our flag and our troops. pic.twitter.com/M284ygkXl7

I'd like to see that fair use claim go to court - that photo was in the public domain once they published it, and showed someone in the commission of a crime

would they use this same standard were it a white republican who just raped and murdered a 4 year old?

Aurora police ticket woman in connection with U.S. flag removal at ICE protest

Police are still looking for other suspects involved in July 12 incident

By SAJA HINDI | shindi@denverpost.com | The Denver Post
PUBLISHED: July 24, 2019 at 5:09 pm | UPDATED: July 24, 2019 at 5:24 pm

Aurora police have ticketed a woman for criminal tampering who they say was among the demonstrators who removed and replaced flags during a protest outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Aurora two weeks ago.

Police previously released photos of six individuals they were trying to identify in connection with the July 12 incident. On Wednesday, police said in a news release that an adult woman had been cited, though they declined to release her name or other details without an official records request. The Denver Post has submitted a request.

Criminal tampering is a violation of Aurora city ordinance and the woman was issued a summons to appear in municipal court.

Authorities are still looking for the other people in the photos, they said in the news release.

About 2,000 people gathered to protest the Trump administration’s planned immigration raids outside the detention center, run by the private company GEO Group.

Protesters broke away from the crowd and pulled down three flags, including the American flag, which they replaced with a Mexican flag. They also raised a “thin blue line”-style American flag that had been defaced.

The demonstrators allegedly attempted to burn the U.S. flag they’d removed from the flagpole, according to Aurora police. The incident sparked national outrage.

Protest organizers denounced the incident and said it detracted from their message about national immigration policies and alleged abuses.

The protesters who removed the flag and tried to destroy it could face property crime changes, but it’s unlikely they would be convicted under Colorado’s flag mutilation law, with only seven people charged with the crime since 2002 and just one convicted of the crime.
