I’ve been doing this for years .

To complete your sandwich analogy.... I tell women they are not allowed in my kitchen , I value my ingredients , and don’t want them destroyed by her incompetence...

I know what kind of sandwiches I like and how to make them .
The subject of sandwiches is now closed , and she should pick another topic of conversation .

I love watching women do a slow boil , without even knowing why she is mad .
