Right now my wife is on the phone with Tech Support . She's trying to set up a new printer and nothing is going like it's supposed to . Obviously the person on the other end of the phone is in Bombay , India or God knows where . I heard my wife spell her name 5 times and same for her E-mail address . She's about to lose her shit . She has explained her issues at least twice and is getting nowhere . I'm not sure how long this can go on before she throws it in the box and heads back to the store .

What's the issue? I'm betting SIGforum can get it straightened out faster.

She finally got the woman to understand the issue and it loaded up ok . It had a QR code that popped up on the display and said that you needed to scan it to continue setup . When she did that it opened some sort of sign up screen for an unrelated app and it wanted a CC number . WTFO ? She wasn't interested in the app but it wouldn't let her get past it . In spite of the language issues they were eventually able to move on and finish set up . It was ugly for a while .

But all of these big companies want to sub out their support offshore where it's cheaper . I always dread calling these support people because I know that I'm going to have to deal with " Kevin " that can barely speak English and just reads from a script .
