It's Insane....Mrs and I drove 2,933 miles to spend the winter in Miramar Beach, Florida. We wanted to get out of the cold of NW Montana. Hell, It's 27° here and 31° in Kalispell.

Indoor Day.

"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

I spent the last week in Nashville. First time! Was it Broadway? 60 bars in 60’? I do wish the temp was 50-60, but the doors were open and the bands were playing.
The flight back sucked. Delta, 24 hours delayed, and 9 hours sitting for the delays. Gate was changed five times, hair was being pulled.

Haha! It's warmer at my friend's place in Spruce (MI) than it is here in Virginia!

And she's in Florida right now, laughing at the people who are breaking out full winter parkas... at 45°. Big Grin

God bless America.

Yep! I remember those days in January in ND when the weather warmed for a few days. Seemed like summer compared to -10, -20. I used to take advantage to heat wave to wash my truck. In a T Shirt. In 35-40 degree weather. A few days later---back to -10.

Yeah. About once a year I wish I had an automatic, but I usually come back to my senses quickly.

I would be up for that. Maybe at the OK Corral?
On Target really isn't ideal for that kind of thing. I'm about 3 blocks from MTSU.

It's about 51 here in Orlando according to the phone. Feels pretty good, just got back from walking the dogs. "Real Feel" says it feels 58 out there.

Definitely a huge benefit to central Florida weather.
