So pissed!
Been traveling the past few weeks through Florida and South Carolina. So lots of pools, beaches, and gym shorts so I was mainly carrying in a fanny pack.
2 of the boys and I went to Mass and Adoration on Friday morning so I wore khaki shorts and swapped to the R Grizzle which had resided in my back pack. I got back to the room changed and swapped to the fanny pack and tossed the holster in the safe.
I said to myself put it in the backpack you’re leaving tomorrow and won’t need it. However I just closed the safe.
Got home super late last night and started unpacking today and no holster. I know exactly what happened. I slid my wife’s iPad in the safe when we left later in the day and it pushed the holster all the way to the back. The holster is the dark mahogany, the safe is black, and there is no light in the closet and blended in back there when I checked when we were leaving.

Called the resort tonight when I figured it out. Their lost and found people only work 8-3 M-F. I am guessing I am out of luck.
I’ve had it for a long time like 7 or 8 years. So broken in and nice!
4 months and $100+ for another.

Or do I just finally breakdown and buy a Sig 365X Macro and switch to carrying that?
Yes, I ordered an R Grizzle holster for a 365 last July knowing I’d buy one eventually and that way I would have leather as soon as I did because I hate kydex IWB.

That sucks. I hope you get it back. I had Ryan make a sheath for me and I’ll definitely be ordering from him again.

Bummer, I’d call today & check again. It’s a little more unusual, compared to the average Apple charging cord.

Just call back during the hours lost/found is in the office and see if they can retrieve the holster for you or if someone turned it in. I seldom to never use a room safe so if other guests are like me the safe may have remained locked when the next guests checked in. I've learned to listen when my brain tells me not to do something and I do the thing my brain told me not to do bad things happen.

The only proper solution is to buy a new gun that fits a holster you have already, there is no real alternative! Razz

Call the front desk and see if they'll transfer you, makes sure you mentioned you already called twice. It's likely lost and found is just an additional duty for someone along with their other responsibilities.

Call hotel ask to speak with manger on duty, explain no answer by human, no response to voice mail. I left something in a hotel, housekeeping department claimed it was not there when they cleaned the room, I called again and spoke to manager, he got hold of the housekeeper who had cleaned the room and kept my article. Manager retrieved it and sent it to me.

Call and tell them you left your gun and holster, and if they don't get back to you quick you will have to contact (send) the police and the ATF. Big Grin

Guess they are bracing for Debby.
Can’t get anyone to answer or return calls.

The Legions are nice. But can’t afford that scratch.

Sorry to hear it, buddy. My Grizzle is with me every day. It would seriously burn my butt to leave it behind. I feel for ya.

That sucks, but it could have been worse. We had a hotel call in this weekend because a guest checked out and left his gun behind in the room Frown.
