Pale HorseDon't just post the link from a liberal website. Post the article
Minor rant:
Websites exist based on traffic numbers. The more people who visit a site, the more that site can charge advertisers.
If for some reason you visit MSNBC or Huffington Post or WaPo and you want to show us an article that pisses you off then I suggest that you copy the entire article and post it on Sigforum instead of only the link. That way in order to read that article the rest of us don't have to run those sites traffic numbers up.
It is a minor thing but think about how many conservatives visit those sites every day because they follow links from other conservatives. They are making fun of us and making money off of us for doing so. Stop letting them.

Well said.

SapperSteelYes. Well said. If I may add:
Many are reluctant to go to an unfamiliar site, one where there may be all sorts of adware and malware and other aggravations, including having Google flood all our web search efforts with leftist bullshit ads just because we went to a commie website. Thus we deeply appreciate a preview of what we'll find there before we "click the link".
Posting a quote with attribution and a link is "fair use". No worries about being accused of copyright infringement.
Lots and lots of extra appreciation to those who clean up the quotes that they copy and paste. Yes, it takes a couple of extra minutes to do the cleanup. But we do very much appreciate not getting the one-line adds for additional articles, the confusing stuff in the margins of the original web page that inadvertently gets put into the body of the cut-and-paste verbiage, and so forth. So please go through what you've pasted before you hit "Post Now" and sort that chaff out from the good stuff.

Ryanp225Great point.
And by that same logic I say we should post the link if it's a web page that we'd like to support.

[sarcasm]Oh, yeah. That's a good idea. Just ignore all the intel that the enemy exposes. Going into a fight without knowing anything about the enemy's plans, position, or objectives is the best way to do it.[/sarcasm]
Posting and discussing what the left is saying isn't about whining and running around with your hair on fire and throwing up your hands in despair. Rather, it's about figuring out what the hell is going on in their heads and how to beat them like a rented mule.
