Somehow, I’ve found myself on the “very important” (allegedly) CDC questionnaire list. I had 3 phone calls between 7:00AM and 9:30AM, wanting my opinions on COVID, on a “recorded line”. From a Dr/research group, defined/described as the “ Centers for Disease Control” that also wants to weigh in on urban gun violence issues, as if it is some sort of disease, retired to a rural area, where a gun is just a tool.

“Bless their hearts!”, (And F-off), until they can explain the logic of “you must wear a mask entering a restaurant, but can remove it once you’re seated”. Does that mean if I was under 5ft tall, I’d never need a mask?

Yes, the first time. The second got a “Go to Hell”, the third, a “F-you!”. Thus far it has stopped.

Almost certainly, the call in the OP wasn't from the real CDC (also alluded to in the OP). Why would they seek random people's opinions?

If the number is unknown to me, it’s automatically ignored. No exceptions. Nothing good can come from engaging these assholes. At best, you’re wasting your time.
