Just started happening recently, if I’m taking a slow, but sharp turn, I’ve noticed the trunk will pop. I’ll pull over and shut it, make sure there is nothing in the way and it is secure tight.

Had happened a few times now.

So far the internet has not offered much.

Did you feed the trunk monkey?

Otherwise, it sounds like a warranty issue for the dealer.

2023?

Take it to your dealer and make him fix it, it's a warranty item is it not?

And don't leave until they do

What he said. Unless that’s a typo you need to take it to the dealer not only to fix it but to get it on record in case it happens again. I have only used lemon law once but the documentation of issues or one issue that they can’t fix is what triggered it. Don’t take our advice just go to the dealer.

Is there a trunk open on your keyfob? If so Try positioning the keyfob away from your leg and don't put the fob in your back pocket. We have a Toyota and Scion that have a very sensitive keyfob.

Along those same lines, does it have a trunk release button on the lower dash near your knee?

My Mazda also has a sensitive key fob. I haven't ever opened the trunk while making a turn, but accidentally unlocking it or setting the alarm off while moving around/sitting down nearby was common during the first couple weeks, from buttons getting pushed in my pocket. Investing in a thick silicone fob cover solved it for me.

The trunk button on the key fob requires depressing and hold before the trunk will pop open. I highly doubt this is the issue, while he's driving.

Correct. Plus the trunk will not open when the car is in motion, even if I press the fob or the button by the steering wheel.

I tried to make it happen today and could not, I made an appointment with the dealer next week and see if we can’t figure something out.
