Pipe SmokerI hate iPhone apps that kill my music
TSN (Toronto Sports Network) is one example. It’s pretty good for scores and standings of most sports, but it kills my music stream when I launch it, even though there’s no associated audio.

Black92LXAll this technology and the tunes shut off when trying to take video.
It’s frustrating there are so many times my boys are rocking out to the music in the car supplied by my phone of course and would love video of it.
Nope, can’t do that.

I just tested with my Pixel, and I have no problems taking video with Spotify playing.
OP, anything that kills my music buzz ain't cool.

PowerSurgeTSN is killing your music feed. There may be an ad with muted audio that is doing it.

BurtonRWOne feature that would greatly improve iOS, in my opinion, is an option to "lock" certain applications on top when they're running.
Seems to me it wouldn't be difficult to do and it's pretty obvious when you have nav, comm, and entertainment apps competing with each other.

Good possibility, but it didn’t help, with TSN, at least. The “Settings” for TSN had a “Notifications” option, but it was already “Off”. There was also a “Background app refresh” button, but turning that off didn’t help either.
