The other day, I was approached (Accosted) by a young person of uncertain sexual orientation and unknown color (Beige Skin) and she proceeded to accuse me of being a Racist Bigot. She proceeded to brand me as "You People" and then followed up with a whole list of wrongs going back to Slavery and Catholicism for all of the sins of domination and down trodding that I was personally guilt of. And she insisted that Reparations were due.

I have had time in recent years to think about all of the polite and politically correct responses that I should have. All of them started with "No, I'me not". So I decided to follow a different tact.

"Yes. And your problem is?" I replied. In the silence that followed by my admission of Guilt, I followed up by saying " I AM a Bigot. I don't like a lot of things, you included. I DO like tall white women, loaded guns, Good Bourbon, Rare Steaks, and gasoline automobiles. I like a wide variety of Music but Rap ain't one of them It rhymes with ****. And I come from the Generation that built the world that you live in. So Either thank me for Cars, Colleges, The Internet, Hospitals, vacations, and all of the things you have enjoyed, or don't use them. And Don't bother getting in my way because you will be a speed bump on the road of Progress and satisfaction."

It was a strangely uplifting moment. Gosh It felt good. And I had my favorite 229 on me so I wasn't too worried about a crowd of opposition.

Grin. Bigots are Neat.

So how did this situation come about?

Should've told her to go and make you a sandwich, and call her cupcakes, that way she could add sexist to her list.

I was in line at Costco for the check out (Automated) and she was in another line. Apparently our line was going too fast compared to hers, and she felt it was my obligation to let her in mine.
When I felt it was not reasonable, she reacted to my disagreement with the spiel.
I was a bit irritated.
