Trying to downsize and declutter some items and nobody seems to be buying anything or they are offering ridiculous offers.

I bought a axg grip module and grip panels for 200 bucks. Less than half price and the seller was estatic that I didnt try to lowball him even though it was half the price of new!!!

Where are you trying to sell them?

Some places are notorious for haggling/lowballing, like Facebook Marketplace, Armslist, or Tacswap.

I had good luck downsizing a bunch of my gun-related gear last year and earlier this year on the AR15.com Equipment Exchange and through GAFS (Gun Accessories For Sale), and I didn't have to deal with any unreasonable haggling or lowballing. But it may have helped that I'm an established member at both places.

GAFS recently had to move off Reddit and onto their own website at www.gafshub.com due to Reddit no longer allowing the sale of gun-related items. There's a little bit of a learning curve and it has some quirks you have to learn through observation and reading of the rules (as with all online communities), but it's one of the best places to buy/sell gun stuff online.

I will have to check that out...apparently you need to log in just to see whats inside.

Most of my angst is about local sales. I am leery of doing any shipping because of the large amount of scams or asshole buyers.. I just want to sell it cash and carry :P

Honestly with the cost of groceries, restaurant food and gas, I rarely buy anything else. I don’t like “haggling“ so a small amount spent on ammo is about it unless something breaks and has to be replaced. YMMV.
