That's just crazy

Has it always been this way?

Was reading up on this and apparently it all started to change in the mid-late 90's after I had graduated HS. I saw that there are school districts in Arizona that go back in July!

We always started the day after Labor Day.

I graduated HS in 04, but I want to say we always started mid-August.
But, we were also done by the end of May. Seems the term runs into June sometimes, now.

I graduated in 91

It was always day after Labor Day to about June 15th for us

And I'm hearing that school starts at like 7-7:30 am now a lot of places? That's such a dumb idea to make young kids get up and started so damn early. Hearing stories about kids having to be waiting for a bus at like 5:45-6:00 am.

We started at 8:45 am

In my area, it's staggered start times, due to the volume of kids in transit.

HS: 7-2
Elem: 8-3
JrHS & Intermediate: 9-4
