In someone else’s cart in hopes they won’t notice it and purchase something they don’t want?
If so, that’s despicable.

What gets me is folks leaving their carts in the middle of the aisle and they are 10 to 12 feet away from it. Take the bloody thing with you and don’t make me walk around it or push it out of the way. And that goes for the stock clerk loading up the shelves too.
This is what I was referring to with my comment. Don’t want people fucking with your cart? Don’t leave it unattended. It’s a jungle out there.

Yup.

Walk that far away from your cart… game on. Yes, Despicable was my foster dad.

Worse I’ve seen though, lady walks away from her cart, left in the middle of an isle and next to a vertical support beam (ie, blocking off the aisle) with a small child left in the cart.
Second lady approaches and without remorse, starts pushing the cart, with child in it, half way down the aisle to relieve the congestion. That’s when the catfight started. Lololol

ZSMICHAELDown here they are called buggies not carts. The only time they go back to the corral is when someone is looking. The store across the street has a parking lot that is quite steep. If teens are not riding them into the store they take great pleasure in giving them a good shove from the top of the steep parking lot.

selogicHow many old ladies have you seen walk away from their buggy and leave their purse ( open ) in the child seat ?

sredingI'd say 'Costco' explains it. My wife knows to not even ask to stop at a Costco anymore if I'm with.
Their parking lots (at least here in MN) are designed by someone that has clearly never driven a car, much less studied civil engineering and it all goes down hill from there. Searching throughout the store for what you want because its never in the same place - arrogant blue haired assholes leaving their cart in the middle of the isle all the time and just staring at the 5 gal bucket of ranch dressing while they clearly see you're trying to get past. Boomer white women talking on their cell phones while on speaker and having to yell into them while their little ankle biter purse dog yips and pissed on everything. Garbage from samples just put where ever they want. That place is seriously one of the levels of hell.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

jimmy123xI've walked off with someone's cart before by accident, but noticed it 100 yards or less away and brought it back and found mine. LOL......... senior moment.
But at my costco, if you leave an empty cart somewhere in the store for a minute or two, the staff take it back to the front of the store.

FenderBenderI am once again here to remind you, if you have a Sams Club, or better yet a BJ's they're always significantly less awful.
