Only the strong survive |
I asked NutriBiotics about their Defensed Plus and GSE being tested for use against Lyme Disease and Norovirus and if it was safe to take with medications. Here is their response: Harry, we are happy to hear you like our Dental Gel so well. In regards to the GSE Liquid Concentrate and Defense Plus, we are sorry to inform you that we have not done any testing on the effects of grapefruit seed extract on individuals taking medications. Our GSE does contain very small amounts of naringin and naringenin from grapefruit. So, if your medication instructs you not to have any grapefruit, we would suggest you either consult your physician or not use our GSE. Unfortunately, we cannot make any therapeutic claims because the FDA would consider the GSE to be a drug and it would need to be registered with them as a drug. And, we are not able to promote the GSE as a treatment against any kind of bacteria or viruses because the EPA considers bacteria and viruses a "pest" and would consider the product a pesticide. We apologize for the limited amount of information we are able to provide. So the FDA is another agency that President Trump needs to overhaul and allow information that would reduce healthcare costs, reduce disease, and increase longevity. Looks like I may have to reconsider using toothpaste containing a "pesticide". 41 41 | |||
