Whoever designed to procedure for setting the time on Breitling watches should be flogged! The B1 is difficult enough, and the Aerospace is nigh impossible. And, SuperLuminova…isn’t. Fades wuickly, and a watch you can’t read at night is half a watch. I wear the Breitlings occasionally, but my go-to is either y AWACS Bremont or my Omega Seamaster Quartz. Define "quickly" (or "wuickly", as the case may be). All light-activated lume on watches will fade the longer its away from a light source, regardless of brand. No lumed watch I've ever seen will last all night long, through 8+ hours of pitch darkness. Many won't even make it through a 2 hour movie in a dark theater. But how often are you trying to read a watch after it's been completely sheltered from all light for many hours? If you absolutely have to have a watch that is readable all night long, you're looking for something like a digital watch with a motion- or button-activated active backlight for the LCD, or an analog watch with tritium vials whose glow will work all night long in exchange for having to be replaced every 5-7ish years.

Rogue-- Indeed you are right. If I plan to wear a watch at night, I usually choose one of my Ball watches, either an Engineer Hydrocarbon or a World Timer. Both have tritium self-illuminated vials which are visible in the dark. "Dead Midgets Handled With No Questions Asked"

I hear you on setting there analog digital watches. The Aerospace I can do it by memory since I change the batteries in them all the time, also because many other watch brands use the same movement so I get a lot of practice. If I do something often enough I can memorize it. As for the B1 I don't see them that often. If I have the instruction manual no problem. The last one I did I was able to play with it for a few minutes and was able to figure it out. You want a real headache trying setting or using a dam Suunto watch. Need a dam degree in rocket science to just use the dam alarm and a PHD to set the ABC functions. I haven't found a analog watch the had decent lume that last hours and are well lit. What's worse over time the lume will fade and won't last as long as it did when it was new.

I apologize , My exwife bought two thousand dollar purses, I bought two thousand dollar rifles. If you have the money spend it. I may still dip into my 401k and buy a late 60's muscle car. 69 Camaro RS SS

If you can't see the lume after it reduces, you might be having problems with your night vision. Even my oldest watches, the lume is still visible in low light to me. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.
