If you wife hasn't used an electric stove for a long time, or ever, I would suggest that you hang on to that Jenn-Air. Because after 2 or 3 weeks of discovering why EVERY SINGLE serious cook uses Gas she will be asking to have that Jenn-Air back.

I've stopped counting.

yeah, that would be my advice as well. Stash the gas unit in the shed for a bit.

We're converts to induction cooking; most likely that will be our next stove top cooker.
