jhe888I think the cat knew what it was doing. It didn't try to get off the towel when it started sliding and it seemed to deliberately jump onto it. It's hard to say, but it looks like the cat learned that the towel would slide when it jumped on it. Cats are different that dogs and are harder to train, but they are about as smart as a dog. If a dog can learn to jump onto a skateboard and roll around, a cat could learn to slide a towel across a wood floor.
I have had cats for a long time - I don't think many would hop onto a towel if they had any doubts about it. They would jump over it or go around it. They are careful about where they run and step.
I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure the cat was doing that on purpose and playing.

In this particular case, the man wasn't banned. He withdrew when I growled at him, and then I revoked his posting rights. I'll give him credit for that.
