This is not his cat, but you can get an idea of their size.

Trust a cat that large I would not.

Thinking that's what I was.

Yep

I have to wonder...is this cat's name "blowdeadline" from the other day's post in "So you think you can use this forum to post adds in the classifieds" thread...

When I showed this pic to my wife I said it would be cool to have a cat like this. Yeah...she said...it would be cool to have a wolf mix too...NOT!

Apparently once you get down to the F3 and F4 bloodlines, (Cerval bread with domestic cat, then that offspring bread with a domestic cat = F3) they are closer in size to a big house cat although longer and leaner. You have to feed the F2's more of a wildcat diet like rodents and raw meat. From what I've seen the one in the picture is a full Cerval, not a mix.

Russian Blues get plenty big enough for me. I can't imagine it being enjoyable at all to have that jungle cat running around the house in the middle of the night, scratching up the furniture...

As an aside, you're probably most familiar with The Tokens version but the orginal came from Solomon Linda & The Evening (1939). Check it out: It's pretty cool.
