Ripley, how do you GIFs with Imgur? When I try it's just s still pic

I have a couple ways. An old program I've had for a long time that I can no longer find any info about--
Free GIF Maker v.1.3.48
And a pay video editor, Movavi. Movavi seems to be an excellent program although I have none of the big name editors to compare to. Movavi is easy and intuitive, versatile enough for what I use it for. I think I gave about $60 for it maybe three years ago IIRC.

In the Imgur site, click on the ellipses ten download the image (it will offer to save as a GIF).
Name it what you like, then you need to upload to an image hosting site and copy the direct link like any other image and post. (if you have an Imgur login, that will work. it's free to sign up).
I host my own gallery.
