It is called a double suspension gallop, meaning all four feet are off the ground twice in a single gait. You can see it best in the opening slow motion segment. There is the extension, then the collection.
Correct that cheetahs use it. Also in dogs the hounds that are sighthounds use it as well. Covers a lot of ground quickly.

Awesome! We have a ferel cat that decided he wanted to live with us 5 years ago. He goes outside with the dogs. Some times I will call him and he will tear from a neighbors house to ours like nobodies business. Probably why the coyote hasn’t been able to catch him.

Mine runs like that. Every time she leaves the litter box. She's also a formal feral. Her kittens took to the box like it was a playground. Momma treats it like a starting line.
