I never thought there would be much difference but this is our second black cat and they’ve both been the most loving of any we’ve ever had. We’ve decided that we will always have a black cat in the house.

We've been owned by a small female black longhair for almost ten years now. Very loving girl. She's getting a bit grouchy in her old age, but still loving most times.

^^^^^^ Have the vet check for arthritis, in absence of any other known issues. Animals get it, too, and may explain the grouchiness.
