Great if you don't like or need sleep. Each night we're entertained by rampaging through the house, all the while screaming. No reason, he just does it for entertainment. Its kind of fun once you realize what he's doing. Just having fun. His way.
He also has the ability to arch his back in a classic pose. The black cat on a fence you always see in comics. He's old now so he doesn't dance sideways like he did as a kitten.

I understand. I lost Kona last August, the last of his family. His mother died two years ago. I wasn't ready to replace them yet, but a situation arose and a shelter that my girlfriend was following on Faceplant suddenly had 130 cats to find homes for. We took in two of them, adopting one and fostering the other. We may take another foster if necessary. It stretches our limited resources.

I had a bad cat experience as a teen in the 70's. I had to have injections in the stomach. I became a cat person via a neighbors cat. The cat decided he wanted to be my friend, and wouldn't take no for an answer.

You know, I really like this thread. It got me through my catless period. The ex kept my two (now one )girls, but I've been fortunate that one of the GF's cats is an incredible love sponge, and loves attention, and the other one has undisputedly decided that I am HER person. Now if she could just dial the neuroses back notch or two.
