Both of mine go insane with clean sheets, also one loves to puke on clean sheets as soon as she can. Usually it's right after I lay down for the night. If she doesn't get them the first day they are usually good to go until the next change.

Serious answer here: try different detergent and softener. She may be allergic to one or the other. You know how cats are...

I did wonder that way back when, but I have switched several times and sheets are usually stored for quite some time between laundering and use. I actually think it's in her nature to create as much work for me as possible.
