Not to boast about your “Sale”, but prices remain the same as before. That is all. Roll Eyes

A local shop was promoting a black Friday sale 'Everything is 40% off'.

Drive out there and the fuckers are closed.

Tried to buy grandson a baseball glove, Rawlings Rev1x, found on Amazon on sale $299, the seller cancelled the order, no explanation.

Look it up and the glove was now on their page for $349, they had 11 this am when we ordered and now show 2. They also responded they were "out of stock" yet they still have it for sale.

Wonder how many others got scammed by them. They go by The Rawlings Store but it's a sporting goods store in Manhattan KS called Don Morton Sports and go by BallGloves on Amazon.

Clearly they underpriced, drove up demand and then raised the price. Interesting enough they have zero 1 star reviews, except they do, they have plenty and they have all been marked settled by Amazon with "Message from Amazon: The fulfillment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller"

Filed a complaint on them with Amazon, asked them to look into why the vendor was cancelling orders, raising the price near a holiday and how they had all these negative reviews that were hidden giving them a 91% 5 star rating.

The old "mark it up to mark it down" pitch.

In the old days when I worked at Sears, we had two models of pretty much everything, one of which was "on sale" and the other one was 20-25% more at regular price. hey alternated back and forth between the two as to which one was "on sale".

That's the mid level price, he has earned it, play's for his high school and is quite good, doesn't get in trouble, pulls straight A's, dean's list, polite and will probably get a scholarship to college, he has a really good chance. Good equipment makes a difference and that was the sale price. Retail is over $500

bendable
There are tons of u tube vids of retailers
pulling this b.s.

The dead give away is if there is a paper price sticker on the item.

Another biggie is
Food priced incorrectly, by the pound

The label says x per pound and the price is way wrong
Because the weight clamps one weight
But the scale at the check out is weighing considerably less
