Roll Eyes

Why my daughter in law was/is driving I will never understand.

Who knew driving at night with only the DRL’s on was a “right”. And running red lights was not anything passengers would get upset about.

Of course I’m the one causing people stress.

She’s going to get us killed!

I wouldn't get in the car if she's driving now that she's established her credentials.

The Taylor Swift never ending playlist while driving is “nice”.
Which includes her singing along every word.

What a nightmare.

"Please pull over." [i get out]

"Why, what’s wrong?"

"This is not the night i plan to begin living the remainder of my life in everlasting and excruciating pain because someone was stupidly driving with their headlights off at night and running red lights."

That is a true story and i never saw that woman again. She became paralyzed a few months later, after running a red light snd getting hit. Other driver’s family sued her to oblivion because the other driver died.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'd be out. You can either:

1. Cut the shit, and drive like a responsible adult.

2. Let me drive.

3. Let me out; I'll find my own way.

Ah, my BIL. He's was a (failed) race car driver, formula cars. He's had 5 nearly fatal accidents on public roads, mostly in CA. He's here in KY now. I cannot convince him that street driving and racing are two different skills. I rode with him twice (#2 was a mistake) and have refused to ride in his car since. He wanted to take us to breakfast today. We met him there.

I have no qualms whatever about calling a halt to that kind of foolishness.

FEV has the correct answer and it would be stated in no uncertain terms, feelings be damned.
