I think a quick power loss from the utility (and despite having solar) resulted in a communication disconnection between my solar power system and its gateway (which connects to some server out in the cloud somewhere). I can then get power readings of my system using a phone app. But while the system is producing power (green light), the system is not connected to the gateway and therefore not feeding data to the server. I went through the process to reestablish comms between system, gateway and server. But apparently it may take up to 24-48 hours after the reset to fully work again. Come again? 24-48 HOURS to get comms and function to work again? Turnaround time to know if the reset worked is 24 HOURS????? And what if it doesn't work, need to repeat? Seriously, wtf? In this day and age, why would it take 24 hours for the systems to get back online? "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it."
